For Immediate Release Contact: Debbie Rubio UPDATED FACT SHEET (As of 9/8/04) THE 18TH ANNUAL NAUTICA MALIBU TRIATHLON WHAT: The 18th Annual Nautica Malibu Triathlon which benefits the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric The event features a list of festivities including a sand castle demonstration, sports clinics, and interactive booths. A key highlight of the two-day event is the Tot Trot for kids 12 years and younger, where kids race a Beach Dash in either a 50 or 100 yard course also to raise money for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Celebrities and sports stars scheduled to participate include William H. Macy (Film Cellular), David Duchovny (Film Connie & Carla), Jon Cryer (Two And Half Men), Tate Donovan (The OC), Emily Procter (CSI:Miami), Mark Paul Gosselaar (NYPD), Kelli Williams (Medical Investigation) Ingo Rademacher (General Hospital) teen stars and brother and sister Bobby & Ashley Edner along with Ryan Sutter (Bachelorette). Sport stars include; Lori Bowden (Ironman Champion 2002-2003) and Michelle Jones (2000 Triathlon Olympic Silver Medalist-Australian). The Celebrity VIP Brunch will be donated by Moonshadows Malibu and the Sunset restaurants. Participants and spectators who contribute a minimum donation of $100 will receive entry to the brunch. All money raised goes directly to the Foundation.
